Josh Innes, who I thought did a decent job, is out.
I bet he's going back into sports talk radio somewhere.
I believe he was morning host #3 since Fake Wheels came in the air.
What's interesting here is he just added Memphis late last year.

Iheart screwed up by not signing Screamin Scott the first time Beasley let Screamin go to do morn at 106.7. They could have inserted more 90s/2000 rock at that time.
Now what are the options Drew Mark Trudi recorded in the morn slot or maybe Casey and nights being voice tracked.

Given the turnover at 106.7 over the years, I think anyone leaving a very well established station to go to WLLZ would be a very risky move.
Doug was doing country radio part time, McAllister had been fired from 97.1, Anne Carlini had been fired from 101.1, and Trudi Daniels had been fired from 94.7 when they joined WLLZ. In other words, they all likely had little to lose at the time.
Although mornings have been a revolving door, I will say the other three dayparts have been surprisingly stable (relatively speaking) given 106.7's history over the years

This is what happens when you don't take care of your talent. I was critical of a piped in, out of town morning show at first, but I agree...Josh Innes did a decent job. Wherever he's going, good for him.MWmetalhead wrote: ↑Tue Feb 14, 2023 10:49 amJosh Innes, who I thought did a decent job, is out.
