My recording of "Sports Talk..." is somewhat old-fashioned. I'm currently using a CC Witness Plus MP3 recorder from C. Crane, which apparently is out of production. I set the timer for 6:03pm to 9:00pm on Sundays and hook the microphone jack to the speaker outlet on my computer and using WKTK's stream, record the aforementioned stream. I then download the recording to Apple Music (the current version of iTunes).

Just a update, I went to the patriot website to listen to the first few minutes of last nights earth shattering statement regarding the buzzboard as I missed the opening couple minutes and as the caller stated yesterday, there are no podcasts since early July

Even when you point out something to Ron in the most specific way, he sees and hears only what he wants to see and hear.

We might now be under siege by the colossus that is Sports Talk with Ron Cameron, but, as Tom from Berkley & both Dave from Utica & Ben have shown (& add, perhaps, an occasional Baba Booey), we lowly underdogs can still win this war through guerrilla tactics. Remember, all we have to fear is fear itself (or a lifetime ban)!

We should get our own imitators of Captain Janks. Instead of shouting "Howard Stern!" they can shout "Buzzboard!"

Happy to report new Sports Talk with Ron Cameron podcasts are ostensibly available. I state "ostensibly" because I haven't heard them and in the spirit of the "cavalcade of incompetence" (my term) we've come to know, the podcasts are dated "July 25, 2022!"

Thanks! Just listened to the first few seconds of the first hour. The podcast doesn’t begin at the start of the hour, starting only in the middle of what was Ron’s preemptory attack, before Mr. Positive could even begin to talk. But we get Ron’s drift.

I guess there is no record of Ron's new nickname for our group, something like "Buzztalk or whatever they're called."

Kurt's Name Game for next Sunday should be interesting, with the letter M next on tap.

Hall of Fame pitchers include Christy Mathewson (373 wins), Greg Maddux (355), Mike Mussina (270), Jack Morris (254), Joe McGinnity (246), and Juan Marichal (243). Ron will try to squeeze Denny McLain on there and do everything he can to keep Morris off.

HOF first basemen include Willie McCovey (521 HRs, 2211 hits) and Eddie Murray (504 HRs, 3255 hits, 3 Gold Gloves)

Two HOF players in center field (Willie Mays and Mickey Mantle) but none in right field. Mantle played 147 games in RF (versus 13 for Mays), so maybe Mickey can go to right.

Managers include Connie Mack (most wins), John McGraw (third most wins), and Joe McCarthy (highest winning percentage)

Breaking news. Starting 9/3, Ron's show will be on twice a week! Saturday & Sunday, from 3-5.

Yes. Did you miss what he said to Mr. Positive? Before Mr. Positive could say anything, Ron said he had to talk to him about something. And that was that he was never to mention us again. That he heard we had "slammed" two of his guests & he was not going to stand for that!

Yes, in this the summer of the 50th anniversary of the Watergate break-in, who is Deep Throat?

Could it be Luke? Since 6/23 (p. 549), when he informed us that he had been out-of-town, not fired, he’s disappeared from these pages, & hasn’t responded to any of our comments and/or requests, e.g., letting Ron know that Frank, not he, was correct about the lack of podcasts. Perhaps Ron’s given him a cut of his highly lucrative ad deals.

What about Alex? He's not been heard from since (p. 558), when he broke the news that Denny was the guest that night.

Other candidates? How about our longtime nemesis, Greg from Warren? Or perhaps Kurt, who, while studiously ignoring us, perhaps been secretly seething over the less than stellar reception his long-planned, long-running, all-alphabet MLB team has received. And he has suspiciously tempered his criticism of Avila in the last couple weeks.

Another Nixonian parallel is the "enemies list" that Ron asked Luke to compile that includes callers who use the "B" word.

That also me reminds of those scenes in The Quiet Man where Victor McLaglen keeps a book of people he doesn't like.

I'm hoping that Mr. Positive says something like this: "R Sizzle, the Elvis of Sports Radio! Hey, real quick, I just wanted to say that I will not mention the Buzzboard because you don't want me to mention the Buzzboard because you felt that the Buzzboard took some cheap shots at two of your guests so I will not mention that the Buzzboard is listening right now and the Buzzboard helps promote your show even though the Buzzboard sometimes says some negative things about you so I will not mention the Buzzboard."
