I wish Ron would tell us more about his Ping Pong prowess. He was talking a few weeks ago about (I think) being the Ping Pong champion of Arizona spring training about 20 years ago.

It might be a way for Ron to get better access at Comerica Park. Ping Pong is big in the Tiger clubhouse this year:

I vaguely recall Ron bringing this up, but, as with all of his other claims, I take it with a healthy helping of salt. If it were true, this story would be as oft-told as, among others, his deciding vote that saved Catholic League baseball. But if it is, Ron should be eager to take on all challengers.

Is anyone at WDTK held responsible for Ron's podcasts? Are the podcasts part of the fee Mr. Cameron pays for airtime? As of 2:25pm July 21, 2022; the latest podcast of "Sports Talk with Ron Cameron" dates back to July 3, 2022; whereas "6 O'clock Talk with Darryl Wood" is au courant with July 20, 2022's edition ostensibly available. (I haven't heard Mr. Wood's actual podcast.)

Doubt that Ron is paying for the podcasts. His current indifference when the subject is raised speaks volumes. Odd, since there was a time he talked constantly about the podcasts. Maybe Luke, a station employee, can weigh in.

I noticed that other Sunday shows aren't up to date either (Money Matters, Veterans Radio). Doing podcasts for brokered Sunday shows might be a low priority at WDTK.

Yeah, I seldom find the time to devote to the Sunday broadcast, so I would catch up during the week. Without the podcasts now I should just shut down paying attention to this boob. But I don’t want to miss the train wreck looming like the Sword Of Damocles that we all know is coming.

Does anyone else here think there may be a connection between lack of pods and R Fizzle’s dislike of the Buzzboard? No access to show via podcast equals less fodder for the Buzzboard cannons. The ability to pinpoint his vast shortcomings must not sit well with our anti-hero. Maybe his legal team (Cowboy? Kurt?) have advised against the documentation of some of the strange statements and outright lies.
Or maybe/ more likely, he simply offended the person that posts the casts and that person now can’t be bothered.
