2021 Ford Broncos are rolling shitboxes
Sadly, this isn't terribly surprising to me:

The 2.7L has been used in other Ford vehicles with little issue (often with twin turbos), so the issues in the Bronco must be either QC related or due to engineering modifications specific to that model.

More likely a Chinese value supplier.
Ask not what your country can do FOR you; ask what they are about to do TO YOU!!
Re: 2021 Ford Broncos are rolling shitboxes
You can say this about many US vehicles. Asian vehicles have challenges but the companies are much better at correcting problems.
Look back at Jeeps/Chrysler and GM's epic battles with class action.

Subaru quality is definitely overrated. One could certainly do worse, though. Technology issues have plagued some of their vehicles. Several years back, windshields in the Outback were spontaneously cracking in cold weather.
The Subaru Ascent has been a disaster for them.
Hyundai and Kia have a litany of problems, including engines bursting into flames (even when the car is parked). Customer service in many instances is piss poor. The engine fire problems have occurred over a number of model years.
Honda's 1.5L engine (or it a 1.6?) has a history of oil dilution issues.
Multiple Nissan models use or previously used a really crappy CVT manufactured by Jatco. Took them years to finally ditch that lousy transmission from the Pathfinder.
Among the Asian manufacturers, I would trust Toyota and Mazda the most. Too bad the infotainment experience in most Mazda vehicles is user unfriendly. Need to be a rocket scientist just to use the damn radio tuner.

Many Fords are great looking vehicles.
Problem is, they have Ford engines.

Your thread title made me think of this meme...
Re: 2021 Ford Broncos are rolling shitboxes
Can you imagine NOT knowing that Ford stands for Found On Road Dead?

The old acronym jokes ...
Ford= found on road dead
Fiat= fix it again Tony.
Those are the only two I know.

The Subaru's went downhill after the collaborated with GM...
The problem with many cars built in the US are the tier one suppliers have their fingers of mediocrity in every car that is built here....
German Mercedes factory workers are horrified by the quality coming from the Tuscaloosa plant. Much of the problems stem from the suppliers.

We drive Ford Focus’ at work. Truly an unreliable car once it hits about 60k miles. We’ve had numerous transmission issues with them, which are notorious in the 2013-14 model years that we have. Have had other issues with the electronics inside, like the radio. We are just nursing some of them along until they hit 90k miles when they will be tagged for replacement.
Another shit box from Ford is the Explorer. I know a lot of the cops in my county and their departments are switching from Explorers to Durangos or Tahoes. Why? Not only transmission issues, but engine issues as well. Also hearing that they are having issues with the new hybrid Explorer as the damn thing stalls often.

I always heard "Fucked Over Recycled Dodge".
They/them, non-binary and proud.
Remember that “2000 Mules” was concocted by a circus of elephants.
The right needs to stop worry about what’s between people’s legs. Instead, they should focus on what’s between their ears.
Audacity sucks.
