Re: Marvin Lee Aday (Meatloaf)
Stoney and Meatloaf’s “What You See Is What You Get”, released on Motown's Rare Earth subsidiary, was Meat Loaf’s first Billboard appearance in 1971, reaching #71 Hot 100. It was confused by PDs early on with the contemporaneously released “Whatcha See Is Whatcha Get” (#9 Hot 100) by the Dramatics, which may have limited its success.

Also this song "It Takes All Kinds Of People" from August of 1971 which did not charted. Also "What You See Is What You Get" also went to # 36 on Billboard Soul R&B charts & their only charted appearance. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rkLn6uY ... oney-Topic

The album Stoney And Meatloaf is NOT available on Apple iTunes though. There are 6 songs on Apple iTunes which has the mono & stereo (promo) versions of the 45 singles.
