Ask not what your country can do FOR you; ask what they are about to do TO YOU!!

Inflation is largely due to goods being stuck in port and supply chain issues.
The policies supported by the Dems in 2020 are significantly (although not entirely) responsible for this predicament. Free rent + tens of thousands of dollars in unemployment & other stimulus money just for sitting at home. Some two parent households likely received north of $100k in free government money.
Ms. Warren needs to look in the mirror if she is looking for someone to blame for these issues!

How exactly did the money contribute to the goods not getting to port? Seems to me this nothing more than multiple months (3 maybe) where the world was shut down. If the supply chain stops for that long which it did then it’s gonna be hard to come back from that in any hurry.MWmetalhead wrote: ↑Fri Nov 26, 2021 3:54 pmInflation is largely due to goods being stuck in port and supply chain issues.

As for the money contributing to inflation directly… the jury is still out on that.

Simple. A sizable number of folks who work at the ports quit their jobs. They decided they could take a furlough from working thanks to all the free government money. How exactly did the money contribute to the goods not getting to port?

Or maybe they're anti-vaxxers and they decided it would be safer to stay at home than to risk being exposed to the virus.MWmetalhead wrote: ↑Sun Nov 28, 2021 7:26 am

I don't mean to brag, but I just put a puzzle together in 1 day and the box said 2-4 years.

Do you have any evidence of mass quits at the ports? Or of voluntary or involuntary layoffs. Very different things.MWmetalhead wrote: ↑Sun Nov 28, 2021 7:26 amSimple.
