I hear JJ call into WTKA in Ann Arbor all the time to talk U-M sports. My guess is that JJ does not know how to pick up WPON in his humble abode in Lincoln Park via the internet. WPON is pretty static like South of Michigan Ave on the car radio.

Someone should ask Ron about JJ. I wonder if - rather than allow for the possibility that he merely lost a caller/listener - he would say, as he did about Gutterball Tony, that JJ was dead. Still gobsmacked that Ron, who would be among the last to know such information, would so casually pronounce Tony dead.

JJ loves the sound of his own voice, so something's keeping him from his customary fawning over Ron. If it's not that WPON lacks a toll-free call-in number, maybe, as Mr. Transistor suggested, he doesn't have internet access (& can't pick up WPON in Trenton). He was aware, at least, of Ron's longstanding Friday gig at WPON (although I don't recall he ever called that station), so it can't be that he's unaware of where Ron might be.
