It's a new day in America

Post by TC Talks » Wed Jan 20, 2021 10:56 am

This was a tweet Biden put out this morning and I can't agree more.

The peaceful transfer of power is one of the cornerstones of what makes this country great. And although it was jeopardized, those who wanted to threaten democracy lost their fight.

Trump left as graciously is he is likely capable, he still couldn't mention Joe Biden's name. What's with playing YMCA on the way out?

Let's hope that the struggle our country should always have in the direction of policy and governance returns to being a fight of ideas in civil conversation and not a fight of force which will benefit no one and would not prevail.

The SCOTUS Justices look cold.

Didn't watch Trump's departure but the YMCA thing is not out of character, he played as he left his border wall inspection. A head scratcher for sure. Gaga knocked it out of the park.

Did she wear her Meat Dress?

New York and Chicago were all in with respect to their sanctuary status — until they were hit with the challenge of actually providing sanctuary. In other words, typical liberal hypocrisy.

Didn't you say he wouldn't leave willingly?

I'll take your word for it. I'm not visiting that site. I do wonder how Bidet is doing today.

I'm not really enthused that Biden is President, but he is. I'm sure there are many things he'll do that will piss me off, but I'm not about to be a petulant child like many on the left were for the last 50 1/2 months. Welcome, Mr. President. Please have the courage to stand up to the far left.

My opinion: Biden was not my first choice, but I am sure he will do a fine job as President, and Kamala will do great as VP.

On the same note, it is so refreshing to hear someone be presidential, especially after four years of that bastard man-child.

If you sing "Amazing Grace" as well as he can, yes, wear what you please... :)

As an American and after the events in DC, I'm more than pleased to be proven wrong.

(Now go jerk yourself off because you 'owned a lib'. You earned it Champ)

Seems a little uncalled for...
