Dang, I wish POTUSINO ByeDon would take her...
Casinos, bowling alleys, and movie theaters can open though. She's pulling the same shit she did with barbers and gyms after they sued her. How anyone can support that tyrant is beyond me...
How anyone can be as purposely dense as you folks are is beyond me... but here we are...

Yep. Just a speed-bump in the road to ol' cap'n keyboard, here, who could be silently happy about not having to earn their livelihood in the hospitality industry & deal with yet another 'one size fits all' decree against them this close to the holidays.

Nope... a career as The Constant Poster won't allow that...

All activities that don't involve taking off your mask and restaurants do. Still support my governor.

Glad you feel that way Cap'n Keyboard. My job was destroyed by lockdown #1. You lose.

I don't like the lockdowns but I understand why they are happening and that life will go on and things will get better. Patience grasshopper and you might learn how to take a long view of things and be patient like that yourself. Even you can do it with more effort than average. Oh and I EARN my money when I work jackass.

The bowling industry had an active lawsuit against her as recently as last week. I don't think she's playing favorites I think she's playing science.

Many restaurants are very small and cramped, and once people get drunk in bars bad things have been happening.

And just like that, the lawsuit is dropped: https://www.detroitnews.com/story/news/ ... 967695001/

Interesting timing to say the least...

I'm still hoping someone hires you for a temporary gig to bus diversity to Traverse City.

To those of you who support the continued lockdown, I'm curious as to a few things:

1 - What SPECIFIC criteria would you use to determine when the lockdown should end?
2 - What degree of decimation of the small business community is acceptable?
3 - What is the source of authority that gives government bureaucrats such broad discretion in deciding which sectors of the economy to literally destroy and what sectors to allow to survive?

The government must compensate them to be closed.

You might want to talk to Mitch McConnell about that one.

I personally don't care about any of these issues, because I elect people to work on matters like this on my behalf and I don't try to micromanage the government.

I'm sure people who do care are trying to test the boundaries of emergency health orders and the Michigan liquor commission.

We are a nation of laws and I'm sorry you just don't like it. Fortunately, there are remedies in place challenge things you don't agree with.

It seems to me that's what is holding up the next stimulus package.

The Democrats want to give the money to the people. The Republicans want to give the money to the businesses. Hence the stalemate. I know that's a bit simplified, but am I wrong thinking it's not true?

Remind me again of exactly which businesses ole Mitch shut down?
New York and Chicago were all in with respect to their sanctuary status — until they were hit with the challenge of actually providing sanctuary. In other words, typical liberal hypocrisy.
