Your processor settings sound like horse shit with your new format.

I've heard high school stations with better sounding processing.

Mid range is too high, dynamic range is lacking, bass sounds distorted and lacks proper punch, treble detail is severly lacking.

The music isn't any great shakes, either.

They had the Chainsmokers about 15 minutes ago. Pretty bad unless you like "WAP" and Shawn Mendes otherwise. I predict 93.9 won't last long on my presets. 88.7 got the boot as my #1 preset and replaced by 98.7. Might replace 93.9 with 106.7. Not sure yet.

I may just say hell with it and go back to Sirius for their $60 a year offer.

Dude, I got it for like $6 a month for a year. Hit 'em up, see if you can get that, too!

You do realize $60/year is $5/month and a better deal than you are getting, correct?

They wanted to sell it at something like $26 a month, month to month, so the $6 or whatever sounded fine. I'm not gonna squabble over a buck. Aside from the Ticket and WWJ, it's a wise investment either way.

I have mentioned this before quite a while ago...I get SXM year round for free. I don't get all of the channels, just the ones that are unlocked at certain times throughout the year.

Anyone who has a Sirius XM radio gets the free previews they run 5-6 times a year. There is one running now.

93.9 sounds truly abysmal. Horrible playlist, bland imaging, terrible processing, zero personality. One of the worst attempts at CHR I've ever heard, frankly.

I don't know why on earth anyone - even in Windsor - would choose this station over 95.5 or 96.3.

I will say Pure Country 89, despite the terrible first impression (Florida Georgia Line), actually sounds decent. Last night, I actually heard a decent amount of music I enjoyed, the imaging has more life than the crap 93.9 is using, and the processing settings sound good with country music.

Disappointing. 93.9 was my 'go-to' in the car and truck. Guess I'll have to scan the dial for something else.

There really isn't anything else sadly. It was my #2 favorite with 89X being my #1. It's beyond sad.

If you are near Ann Arbor, you could try 107.1 . I was never much of a River fan, but I could at least tolerate it at times unlike the sleepy WQKL. College kids love it though.

107.1 in Ann Arbor fights it out with a K Love affiliate over here. Neither wins. It's not able to listen to it easily here in Warren. Besides, I had heard that 107.1 ditched their indy adult alternative format for light rock?
