We would play “smear the queer” at recess. However, nobody playing was queer. That’s wouldn’t fly today. We renamed it “tag the fag” just in case someone came out during play.

We would go “nigger knocking.” It’s when you go to black people’s homes (the few that had them), knock on their door, and run. That wouldn’t fly today. You’d also have to knock on white people’s doors for “equality.”
