THIS is leadership:
“You know, I’m just going to speak candidly, if we don’t have teachers who want to come in person, we would have to find another set of adults who want to come in person,” Bowser said, according to WTOP.

What's more pathetic: harassing an old man who is paying to do a radio show or supporting a grifter like Trump?

I think this illustrates one thing that's nice about smaller school districts in smaller communities. The mayor's don't have a say. The school board and superintendent do the deciding.

Why are the mayors of big cities, that really don't have an educational background, making the decisions? DC is one. Doogie Dunkin's another.

Why is there a difference between big and small school districts, as far as who is in charge?

Some babysitters unions are refusing to be on video "too long".

What does this have to do with being on video? It's pathetic that these part time workers are whining about both alternatives.

Kind of makes you an ass for expecting people to do things without appreciating the risks.

Indiana Schools just went online.

I was a proponent of online schools at least since this website was on the previous ad-supported platform.

What risks? What are the risks of teaching FROM HOME?

All Indiana schools have not gone online. Some are doing hybrid, some days in class, some days eLearning. Some schools are all eLearning and some will be in class five days a week. School districts statewide held open meetings with parents to determine what parents wanted for their kids. My kids have hired a retired teacher, who wearing PPE, will teach all the kids in the bigger of their homes. It has been approved by their district. This could all be moot as I heard on a newscast today the largest teachers union in the country is prepping what they call a safety strike, which will shut down districts nationwide. TT, the gig is up, drop the doofus account. It is not now, nor has it ever been funny.

Huh, my sister in law is with the IN health department and I thought she said the state was going online.

That's a cool idea what your daughter is doing.
