I don't know how you do it, but you are arguing with people who simply want to complain about things are common sense for anyone living within an educated society. I doubt they believe most of what they type. It's almost like guys like BMW are recruiting their malcontent friends just to parrot the stuff he finds on the Crazyweb.

Whitmer says wearing a mask reduces your chance of spreading the virus by 70%

https://www.clickondetroit.com/news/loc ... o-mask-up/

Can somebody tell me where she gets that number? The peer-reviewed study I posted here last week as published in mid-June says that after 3 weeks, mandatory mask laws reduce the daily uptick in cases by TWO percent.

It appears that this the SECOND recent example of Whitmer using 70% as a completely fabricated number: https://www.mlive.com/public-interest/2 ... force.html
The order prohibits many bars in Michigan’s Lower Peninsula from serving alcohol indoors. It pertains to businesses with on-premises retailer licenses that earn more than 70 percent of their gross receipts from the sale of alcoholic beverages.

But the state does not track such sales data, so health officers would have to request it from each licensee to determine who is and isn’t exempt from the order.

A couple of months ago, the goal was to get the rate that folks test positive down under 8-10% and you were doing 'good'.

We're right around 3% right now.

Are you F-ing kidding me.... HALF Whit sends out an EMERGENCY ALERT to tell folks they have to wear masks??? And it must have been an "exteme threat" level, because that's the only one I have still enabled on my phone (due to past abuses of that system). The only one I can't turn off is Presidential Alerts.

Whitler (147 in 2020, more than 100 for COVID-19) has issued nearly as many executive orders this year alone than Trump (169 since 2016) has in four years.

Good point.

If a broadcast facility had that programmed in to air automatically, I can GUARNNNNTEEE they would rip that out of the software in hot second after that!

Of course when we have a real state-level emergency it will no longer air because it has been disabled due to the abuse. (State level alerts like this are optional).

You can thank chicken-little Whitmer.
