Joe Scarborough resigned from Congress under suspicious circumstances, in May, 2001, using the old "resigning to spend more time with his family" excuse. His intern was found dead in his office in July, 2001. It most certainly is suspicious. The coroner in the case had been accused of lying before. And why would Scarbororough joke with Imus about it? Why did Joe really resign? It seems suspicious that he is now against Republicans. Perhaps he is still being blackmailed?
