Andrew's forecast from Sunday of 80 degrees for today sure aged well! LMFAO

Some areas in Monroe County will be lucky to hit 61 or 62.

Metro probably won't reach 70 today. Might struggle to crack 65. My predicted high for Metro today is 67.

Flint should reach low to perhaps mid 70s today. I'll go with 73.

This thread is depressing.

I work in outdoor construction and try to count on a decent forecast. Idk how many times I expect dry, sunny, warm conditions and get to my job sites and its raining and/or cold. Makes it hard to dress accordingly.

75 and sunny tomorrow and then into the 80’s we go.. this poor meandering low is the problem.

Sunday to Wednesday, afternoon highs could be anywhere from mid 70s to upper 80s depending on timing of precip. Diurnally driven convection will be possible if not likely. It will definitely feel more humid in any event.

I’m hoping for some strong to severe thunderstorms to come from it... something interesting to break up the dreary weather...

I did alright today. Wish I was a bit closer on Flint's temp, though.

Detroit City reached 66. Flint Bishop reached 70. Lapeer 71. MBS International 74. Bad Axe 75.

Sault Ste. Marie reached 83!!!

I thought you guys were all being pretty harsh on the local weather talent, but last night and this morning I was paying close attention to the forecasts because I wanted to plan out my day on Friday. Nearly everyone was saying just a very slight chance of rain early in the day, especially more to the South.

It was still raining late in the afternoon as I was headed across 696!!

Toledo has had s**t for weather for 6 damn days- why don't they just tell us the truth instead of - it could be sunny or 70- yeah, if I was 90 miles away in Lansing or Flint. Horrible stretch of weather, wish to hell it would move on out- now, probably rain all freaking holiday weekend too.

Indeed, Toledo, much of Ohio, and Monroe had miserable weather since last Sunday. Detroit's northern suburbs had two or three decent days tossed in. Flint and Lansing had great weather from Tuesday onward.

Telegraph and 13 Mile Rd area had wet roads around 8:00 last night!

Never trust the forecasters on channel 4. Halley Vogel on 7 is decent; the rest of their crew stinks (Kevin Jeanes and Dave Rexroth being the least accurate of the bunch).

I think the shutdown has revealed that aviation plays a much larger role in forecasting. Fewer planes on the air means less observation. Just a thought.

Interesting theory, I must admit.
