Japanese Internment Camps and the Civil War were both clear examples of this type of legal action. I am betting only Democratic Governors will be getting sued. Total politics, as we would expect from the Dipshits.Rate This wrote: ↑Tue Apr 14, 2020 10:03 pmThe courts have already found previously that the stuff they aren’t arguing about in the first paragraph cancels the rest of their argument... they can try I guess. 0.18% mortality rate in Los Angeles county.
https://abcnews.go.com/US/wireStory/los ... d-70253363
As these tests continue to be done, that mortality rate is going to settle in right around 0.2%, maybe even less. Basically making this about 2x as deadly as the flu. Not 20-30x.

Whew. That's a relief. We can all go back to normal living now.bmw wrote: ↑Mon Apr 20, 2020 7:54 pm0.18% mortality rate in Los Angeles county.

I don't mean to brag, but I just put a puzzle together in 1 day and the box said 2-4 years.

Your sarcasm aside, a 0.18% mortality rate from ANYTHING does not justify shutting down the country.Turkeytop wrote: ↑Mon Apr 20, 2020 7:56 pmWhew. That's a relief. We can all go back to normal living now.bmw wrote: ↑Mon Apr 20, 2020 7:54 pm0.18% mortality rate in Los Angeles county.

And how prey tell were we supposed to get that information ahead of time so we could not shut it down?bmw wrote: ↑Mon Apr 20, 2020 8:00 pmYour sarcasm aside, a 0.18% mortality rate from ANYTHING does not justify shutting down the country.Turkeytop wrote: ↑Mon Apr 20, 2020 7:56 pmWhew. Well we have it now, so time to open everything back up (or at least after we have a few more testing studies done like this in a few other heavily populated areas in this country).
btw - there were experts over a month ago saying that the likely mortality rate was well under 1%. This isn't anything new. It is just that now we are getting some data to back up that belief.

And if we get a second possibly more deadly wave?bmw wrote: ↑Mon Apr 20, 2020 8:16 pmWell we have it now, so time to open everything back up (or at least after we have a few more testing studies done like this in a few other heavily populated areas in this country).

See....even the mainstream media knows this is one big scam! "You can take your mask off now....the case fatality rate is 0.1 to 0.3 percent"

Everybody's been vaccinated?
Ask not what your country can do FOR you; ask what they are about to do TO YOU!!
Re: On a scale of 0-10, how worried are you about coronavirus?
Yeah, that's a bizarre quote. My guess is that he was just implying that if everybody's already had the virus, then they've effectively been vaccinated. If that's not what he meant, then did the media get early vaccinations?
btw - still trying to figure out who that reporter is - is that John Roberts of Fox News? That's who it sounds like to me.

Try micromanaging the idiot at the front of the room. I am amazed how you are capable of ignoring the biggest problem in Washington D.C.

Considering the death toll is now projected to reach about 60,000 and you were projecting it to be well into the millions, I'd say that the "idiot in the White House" is by that objective measure doing a damn fine job.
Re: On a scale of 0-10, how worried are you about coronavirus?
But wait, he threw the responsibility to the Governors, at the last minute, completely against the expectations of how a pandemic would be managed Federally. What kind of irrational thought causes you to think he had anything to do with that number?
If anything, he has been a distraction and a competitor to the goal of getting through this.

A mere 60,000? That's nothing. Unless a member of your family happens to be one of them.
Would you be that dismissive of the numbers if the death toll was the result of a terrorist attack?

And you still act like it’s all over never to return and not one more death to boot...
