The Swiss marked the disappearance of a glacier there this week with a funeral.

An entire glacier - gone.

But - nothing to see! Move along, please.
Remember the glaciers? They used to be where you are sitting. They melted thousands of years ago after scraping up the surface of the earth and excavating lake beds. They melted because they were now at lower, warmer latitudes. Not global warming. Simple Geometry and Astrophysics.

So your assessment (with what education?) is more relevant than 98% of all climate scientists? What do you do? I'd like to come over and tell you how off base you do your job (I having no experience).

You’re all so ignorant and gullible.

Greta’s father is behind the whole thing.

https://pluralist.com/greta-thunberg-fa ... -thunberg/

But go ahead and keep being played by an autistic teenager who is being played by her father.

LOL lovinlife101 - you seriously provide the most laughs on this forum. Yes, a child with autism accomplished more than you will ever in your sad little life!

But who cares about climate change, am I right?

Cool news "source" by the way to cite regarding her father, wtf?

What exactly has she accomplished? She can’t even post her own thoughts (if there are any) on social media! HER DAD DOES IT!!!

She’s being played by adults and so are you.

I'm not exactly sure how a father supporting his child's endeavors is a bad thing? She shined more light on this beyond important issue than any non-autistic adult ever has, so yeah its really impressive. What have you done for society lately? Why don't you go start a fire or something and shut up.

It’s “it’s.”

Do you think it’s noble too if her dad completes her school projects for her? If she’s so capable, why does her dad do all “her” posting on her social media channels? Why can’t she speak for herself? She’s being played by adults and so are you.

Oh, and the Australian fires were not caused by man-made, global, doom and gloom, hysterical climate change. 183 arsonists have been arrested for starting them. Nice try, Skippy.

If you were paying any attention you would know that she is not in school right now, she's led the most impactful youth led climate strike and movement in decades. What do you do for society? Sorry you fall for conservative conspiracy theories and are paranoid and delusional. I will call you out when you post crap.

TheForce - Your post is idiotic and so is your profile photo. Are you a russian bot or just a regular troll?

She’s not in school? It shows.

:rollin :rollin :rollin

What has been accomplished? Bupkis. A Time Magazine Person of the Year means nothing. Hitler got that designation too.

All of the climate alarmists’ predictions have not happened. Not one of them. But feel free to run around and scream, Chicken Little. It’s your right!

So why did you throw climate in quotes kemosabe?
Because most of the folks on the list of "98% of climate scientists" have no background or education in climate science.

Who needs education or scientists when we have politicians and autistic children telling us what to do?!
