Another example of how far WEYI has fallen...
Jeanna Trotman, sports director at 25-66, is fleeing when her contract is up. She turned down a renewal... for a job in a bigger market? Nope. To spend more time with family? Nope. Because she is pursing a career outside broadcasting? Nope.
Trotman is just leaving. No job lined up. No big station retirement party. Just... leaving... Sinclair.
Here’s the crazy busy life the Trotmans gave been living:

Good luck Jeanna. Turn out the lights on Pierson Road when you leave.
Another one bites the dust
Re: Another one bites the dust
Also an Executive Producer position is posted.
You won’t be treated well... you won’t get paid much... you’ll have to laugh at the GM’s bad dad jokes... you’ll be forced to sell out all journalistic principles to air partisan propaganda... and you can work in one of the worst areas of Flint’s north side.
But there are lots of openings at WEYI. Persons of color need not apply at sbgi.net.
