I'm not sure I agree it's sad news. He says he's ready to go. He's got a good spirit.
Sounds like he's made peace with God and himself.

I feel for the poor guy. Chemo gives you dry mouth, you bite the side of your mouth once, and you're screwed for a week, especially if you have to do some fast talking; what a horrible way to go out. It's sad that it came roaring back after he was ahead of it and doing the shows. I have a hard time picturing him leaving Jeopardy! and no replacement in sight that would be even close to as good as Alex at the job. God Bless Him.
