Bernie's Stint
I wish him the best personally but seems like this is the end of the campaign.
Ask not what your country can do FOR you; ask what they are about to do TO YOU!!
Re: Bernie's Stint
Bet he didn't go to Russia, Cuba or any other number of Communist options for his operation.audiophile wrote: ↑Wed Oct 02, 2019 6:36 pmI wish him the best personally but seems like this is the end of the campaign.
New York and Chicago were all in with respect to their sanctuary status — until they were hit with the challenge of actually providing sanctuary. In other words, typical liberal hypocrisy.
Re: Bernie's Stint
Just another publicity stint.
I don't mean to brag, but I just put a puzzle together in 1 day and the box said 2-4 years.
Re: Bernie's Stint
He used a hospital in Las Vegas.
Re: Bernie's Stint
Yes. He should have hopped on an air ambulance to any other major country. It wouldn't matter which one. They all have public health care plans for their citizens.
Of course, his private health care plan probably wouldn't have covered his bill.

Re: Bernie's Stint
He’s fine. He has the best health care his substantial amount of money can buy.
Which is the whole point of his health care plan for all. You see - he actually believes that health care is a right. Not a privilege for the well off.
He’s honors Judaeo-Christian values. Many of you honor the “I’ve got mine”, “I’m special”, “screw everyone else” way of life.
I wish him good health. Mazel Tov. Especially now - in the Days of Awe - between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur.

Gimme a break.
Bernie just tells people what they want to hear to buy votes. I doubt he even completely believes his own shtick.

Re: Bernie's Stint
Bernie is toast. Not many will vote for an elderly man who just suffered a heart attack for an office as important as the Presidency.
Look for Elizabeth Warren and possibly Beto O'Rourke to be the primary beneficiaries of Mr. Sanders' health woes.
Things are looking better & better for Warren in this race.

While that may be true, I suspect she will be the Dem nominee.

Re: Bernie's Stint
Up until it was officially announced he had a heart attack I felt his campaign would survive. He would use the incident for his health care plan, but now I have to agree, he is done.
Re: Bernie's Stint
He hasn't announced the end of his campaign yet. I think he's just Stalin.

Re: Bernie's Stint
Funny. I don't think he will announce right now. He fully intends to be on stage during the next debate. I think it will be interesting to see how the others treat him then and if they pounce on it as a way of saying he is not fit, physically, for the job. I think those who are in trouble in the polls may but I don't see Biden using it against him because he is no spring chicken and his health has been mentioned too. I have also been thinking that there will be a surprise Democratic candidate announce before the end of the year. I have no basis for this feeling and it most likely won't happen but I just have a feeling there is someone waiting in the wings who will come out and say I am the one candidate who can unite the party and bring us a win next year. Who that may be, I haven't a clue..
