Ron Cameron In One Word:
Re: Ron Cameron In One Word:
One way that Ron's manifest narcissism evidences itself is by his inclusion - always - of his name when recounting a conversation he's had. As in, "I said to X ... and X said, "Ron, ..." Since sometimes he's repeating things we've heard him say to past guests, we know his inclusion of his name in these contexts was not in the original discussion. We learned yesterday of Glen Sather's nickname for Ron, "Scoop," a moniker Ron has never mentioned. Yet, throughout the hour Sather was on, whenever Ron mentioned one of his past conversations, the other person, in Ron's telling, was referring to Ron as "Scoop." He's quite the storyteller.

Re: Ron Cameron In One Word:
Was Glen taking calls? I would listen to the podcast but it won't be posted until Wednesday. I'm definitely listening in today. I'm sure he will be patting himself on the back for yesterday's show.
Re: Ron Cameron In One Word:
Yes, calls were taken. Rob was impressed with their numbers since he had done no promotion. As if Sather had never been mentioned as a future guest. No word from JJ, who’ll probably be devastated to learn that he missed the chance to speak to Glen Sather. Ron was astonished to learn that Sather’s middle name was Cameron - a fact brought up by a caller - and wanted to know why Glen had never mentioned that to him. Roger Faulkner is scheduled to be a guest tonight. Oh, in the second hour, Rich called from New York, asking about who the Tigers play next week. Radio for shut-ins.
Re: Ron Cameron In One Word:
Justin Verlander just threw his 3rd no hitter. Jake Rodgers straight up for him right?
Re: Ron Cameron In One Word:
Are we even so certain that the very much-younger Rogers will be in the league long after Verlander - a prime basis for Ron's saying he would've made the deal straight-up?!
