Has "Grapes" been fired?

At his rare best, he was a moderately entertaining bufoon. At his more typical worst, he was like your drunken/crazy uncle who always said something stupid at Thanksgiving dinner when almost anyone else would have known to keep their mouth shut. Good riddance.

Dean Blundell is a Canadian radio personality. Best known as a longtime morning host on CFNY-FM (The Edge) in Toronto, Ontario. In 2015 he was named the new morning host on sports radio station CJCL (Sportsnet 590 The Fan). Dean started his career in radio in 2001 and for nearly 20 years been entertaining the radio audience. Dean’s newest venture is the launch of his site and podcast which is gaining tremendous momentum across North America.
Wow - I guess Dean figures his time at 89X doesn't count! It's as if he's disowned them! Pretty sure he was there in 1999 when I first arrived in Ann Arbor.

:lol

Cherry is entertaining, but I cannot understand his gibberish 75 percent of the time.

Sure would be nice if the Wings would fire "Paul - uh - Woods" and delusional Mickey Redmond while we're at it. Of course, if the latter were to occur, every battle ax who lives in Macomb County or downriver would be up in arms.

Mick doesn't even do about half the games anymore, does he? I haven't watched the Wings much in the past few years.

Before Cumulus got too cheap to air the Wings radio in Toledo I used to listen to them to laugh at Woods stumbling through every sentence. Him saying "The Wings' next game against the Chicago, uh, Blackhawks will air at 7:30 Wednesday night" once prompted my friend to yell at the car radio "WHO DO YOU THINK THEY'RE PLAYING, THE FUCKING CUBS??"

Grapes is a Canadian legend and patriot. The CBC socialists dont like him bc he's not a pussy or YES man like 99% at CBC.

Don call it as he sees it he doesnt care about political correctness. He's a throwback to a diff time when Canadians were a proud and tough people and were not afraid of some fisticuffs.

Were now a limp wristed lot waiting for someone to wipe our friggin ass.

Glad to see he's back in the fall and even at 85 yrs old WOW!!!

Here's Don at his best from 1996...........enjoy.

Holy shit - he's 85?!?! I must say, he looks phenomenal for someone of that age!

So, basically, Mr. Blundell's report was FAKE NEWS.
