Recycling <face palm>

Post by lovinlife101 » Sun Jul 07, 2019 9:07 am

Is there any lower life form than those who scream at people to recycle?

Oh, and don’t just throw that paper, glass, or plastic item in the recycling bin! Nay!!! You must WASH your garbage before throwing it into the recycling bin!!!

If you try to recycle an item that’s not clean, the tree-huggers light their hair on fire and scream, “YOU CAN’T DO THAT!!!! THROW IT IN THE TRASH!!!”

So you end up putting everything into the trash because most people aren’t going to wash their trash before recycling it. So you’re back to NOT RECYCLING!!!

Do you really think a planet that has been hit by meteors and survived an ice age is afraid of a little plastic bag or bottle? Give me a break.

It takes just a little effort to rinse stuff off so that when it's put in the bin it doesn't attract rats or other vernim or for when someone else has to handle it a week later after it's been sitting in a hot container the old food doesn't have growth on it.

Not that hard to do at all. If it's too hard... just toss it in the trash instead of the recycle bin.
Which is my point. Most people, when given the option, to either wash their garbage and put it in a recycling container or simply throw it out, will simply throw it out. #recyclingfail
