Re: WOMC and “The 90’s
I just looked at WCBS FM's playlist history, and wow.
Now THAT is a real Classic Hits station.
Tim doesn't know what he's doing at The Breeze or WOMC.
He should just copy 94.1 The Sound and WCBS's playlists tbh.
They know what they are doing

I heard "Slide" on WOMC as well; you and I were listening at the same time - armchair pd!
I'm confused by your comment, stopnswop2. I see a decent amount of similarity between the playlists of WOMC and WCBS-FM. The latter plays TLC, Kid Rock, and Uncle Kracker, among others. WOMC is probably more heavy on the Classic Rock than WCBS-FM, but not by a massive degree.
The Breeze has had a stronger three book streak (ages 6+) than at any point during AMP Radio's entire nine year run. Soft AC will never be a big hit with A25-54 in this market. The socioeconomic makeup of this market simply isn't conducive to that. The station is performing almost as well as one could reasonably expect given the format choice.
I still think a rhythm soft AC would've been a better format choice than waspy soft AC, only because it would've given Entercom access to cume its other stations largely miss.

Morgan Wallen is a piece of garbage.

WOMC isn't too shabby. Sounds similar to WCBS! They just played "Brickhouse" and right after "Living on a Prayer".

Similar but different.
Yes they both play the same overplayed "safe" songs, but the rest is very different.
Much more 70s pop on CBS too.
And no strange 90s hip hop songs like WOMC

They played a Train song from 2003 this morning.
If they want to play Train, why can't they play "Meet Virginia"? That's from 98.

Pam’s Sunday morning show still includes a bit more “Sunday Morning Brew”-type material than the rest of the day. And the liners still mention the name.

Any song by Train is enough to get a station off my presets permanently.stopnswop2 wrote: ↑Tue May 28, 2019 9:04 amThey played a Train song from 2003 this morning.

Re: WOMC and “The 90’s
Train is one of the few groups from this century that is great.

Disagree. Train is horrendous.Mediumwave wrote: ↑Sun Jun 02, 2019 6:00 pmTrain is one of the few groups from this century that is great.

Re: WOMC and “The 90’s
I loved Train in the late 90s/early 2000s... but they turned into nonsense after 2010.fuzzpower wrote: ↑Sun Jun 02, 2019 9:03 pmDisagree. Train is horrendous.Mediumwave wrote: ↑Sun Jun 02, 2019 6:00 pmTrain is one of the few groups from this century that is great.
"Hey, Soul Sister" was the last song by them I liked
