New Generation of Classic Rock is what 106.7 claims it plays; instead, I just hear the same shit CSX has been playing for years mixed with a little bit of "safe" music WRIF & 89X played in the 90's.
For them to survive your right on.They will have to evolve into this. Also some Mighty Met from Load/Reload on would be nice.

A mashup of Lithium and Turbo...........

Beasley is not fearful of this new Wheelz for sure.

But that's one of my top favorite songs of all time.

It may be because of my age when the song came out, but it's very special to me. Brings back so many memories.

I still have a cassette tape of the song I recorded off Channel 955 which catches the first half of Dilemma by Nelly.

2002 was an amazing year.

So here's the general consensus on this board:
80s rock? Bad.
90s rock? Bad.
Album cuts so deep that even the artist forgot they recorded it? Good.
Music that hasn't been played on FM radio since 1984: good
Alternative rock cuts: bad
Certain classic rock groups: bad
Music that can't be sold on FM radio: good

Sounds like we're building a winner here.

I'll tell ya what...lay out an hour's worth of programming. Seriously. 50 minutes of music. Let's see the road to #1 in the market.

Not a bad hour. Metallica being a core artist, I could see Fuel getting some spins. Rhythm Corps? Probably not. The Zeppelin tune and Triumph tunes are probably too deep. That Rockets tune you might have a shot at, but the truth is, "new generation of classic rock" probably dumps stuff like that.

We could go back to 1990 and have Phil Collins and Eric Clapton in AM drive...

I'd like to hear YES, like Your's is no disgrace, I've seen all good people, Starship trooper, and Roundabout. Maybe King Crimson(I know I know) once in awhile. Full length songs! Not edits!
someone's speaking my language here...

OMG, Love “The Court Of The Crimson King” in its entirety of course, I drive my Wife nuts with that tune at least once a week, I crank the sound system to eleven on that one.
