Gee, I wonder where these ideas came from? How long ago did I write this post under The “RadioKev” Name, December 17th that’s it. Actually I have created formats in the past and I’m currently working on one that will be tested on a station in The Northwest in about 3 months it will be a Vintage Classic Rock Format that covers 1964-1973, I’ll keep you all posted.

KRKO AM 1380 in Everett, Washington is one of my past works, And can’t disclose the new possible station with the Vintage Classic Rock Format due to the fact that negotiations are still pending. KRKO 1380 is a Classic Hits/Oldies Format with some 60’s influences and and a bit of 80’s but mainly 70’s plus Sports part time, a very male demographic station.
Musically this is what 104.3 should be doing minus the sports of course. KRKO has a website and does stream check it out. And the Hippie Radio Format is created by one of my Friends in the Biz and the Nashville station is indeed his work the station is WHPY 94.5 Nashville and they also stream.

Hippie Radio! The only station bold enough to reach out in the darkness!

I knew a man that I did not care for and one day this man he did give me a call. We sat and talked about things on our mind, and now this man, he is a friend of mine.

I think it's so groovy now that people are finally getting together.

Sorry I couldn't resist :lol

That sounds a lot like WWPZ/1340 Petoskey when i worked there in the mid-1980s. Fun little station. Played a lot of '60s, '70s and some '80s, with the top 40 of the day. Tigers, Lions, Larry King overnights.

Would love to heard an all late 60s "summer of love" and British Invasion type station. That's what I would called real "Hippie Radio"
