If they play blues, funk and folk, the lads can certainly carve out a major place in rock, perhaps aiding its hoped-for revival .

I'm calling the time of death and alerting the coroner. Most blues and funk doesn't sell here. My friends who do that, generally tour UK and Europe when they wish to eat.

This has happened before. Rock went belly up in this area around 1980 - reference Howard Stern's issue with a format change @ WWWW in the movie "Private Parts". Yes, one day we woke up, and the rock was gone... It's very much an ebb and tide kinda' thing, and right now the tide is OUT. Frijid Pink, Rick Derringer, Seger and Mitch Ryder all used to gig right down the street but that place has been a bingo hall for decades.

All you really have to do is take a look at who is getting booked into the area venues.

Colin Jost made a funny joke about them on Weekend Update. "Tomorrow there is going to be a rare lunar eclipse known as a Super Blood Wolf Moon. I assumed that was the name of the band we just saw."

I watched videos of their two songs. It was nice to time-travel back to 1975, when I was 16 years old. The slower song showed a good feel for early 70s blues rock.

That's fair. They don't sound just like Led Zeppelin. They also sound like Rush, Bad Company, Montrose..... :)

Not that there's anything wrong with that!

I would have sounded better than Greta if they gave me 3 minutes, I would have just farted for 3 minutes and would have brought the house down. They really suck!
