Huh? How did Christmas music help 92.3?

Re: November 8 - December 5 PPM Radio Ratings
They were 85% Christmas music, at least they were in December. I didn't actually check during November, so my apologies if I'm wrong there.

Re: November 8 - December 5 PPM Radio Ratings
The only point being made here is Christmas Music made WNIC #1, that’s an every year thing so what’s new? And how do you know The Mix played 85% Christmas did you sit 24/7 and log every song?

Re: November 8 - December 5 PPM Radio Ratings
It's called playlist history. Requires just about 0 effort to sit and read it Kev

Re: November 8 - December 5 PPM Radio Ratings
Just so you know those playlist history logs on the station website in most cases are not that accurate, especially IHearts they’re the worst so you really can’t go by the playlist history just so your aware. Another thing WMXD had a 6.3 The book before this last one and the new book is a 6.2 so explain how Christmas Music helped them it must have help them lose one tenth of one percent good work 92.3 maybe we’ll do Christmas Music next year and lose some more numbers, Good stuff Maynard!

I only listen to 92.3 once in a great while, but I didn't stumble across any Christmas music on the station until a few days before Christmas.

Same here the Old lady loves R&B and didn’t hear any Christmas Music, until about 5 days till so I have no idea why Iheart would have 2 of their stations be Christmas, As My Grandkids would say Oh Well.

Re: November 8 - December 5 PPM Radio Ratings
Yea, maybe the playlist wasn't right then!
I don't usually listen to the station so I just assumed the playlist was what they were actually playing and had started it in early November. I was seeing all Motown Christmas songs and it really caught my attention.
Oh and Kev, I wasn't referring to the actual share number. I know that went down. Don't be silly, lol. I was referring to it beating WOMC and catching up close to 'CSX

You will see WOMC's numbers up in the next book because of the shift to WNIC during the holiday season.104.3 WOMC (5.9 share) ..their lowest in quite some time!

Re: November 8 - December 5 PPM Radio Ratings
I disagree. The next book is the so-called Holiday book, which includes three and a half weeks in December.
I would expect very similar results.

Re: November 8 - December 5 PPM Radio Ratings
Looks like a Nielsen brouhaha of some kind occurred during the early November to early December survey period.
