The Breeze a tease?
Check out the Neighboring States/Ontario forum for an article posted about an iFart station using "The Breeze" as a smokescreen for a different format.

Re: The Breeze a tease?
They would have to be really stupid if they are playing a silly stunt because this format Is going very very well.
Also though, there are permanent Breeze stations like KISQ

True. This is Entercom and the other is iFart. But I've had a suspicion that this isn't the final format. I still hope I'm wrong. I'm finding I like it more and more all the time.

Re: The Breeze a tease?
HD2 formats always change, and they only stunted for a week by simply syndicating Ifart's National Premium Choice Breeze playlist, so it should have been clear from the beginning that wasn't going to stick.
I don't think we have to worry.

No way this is a stunt. Its a trending format and a great opportunity for Entercom.

Re: The Breeze a tease?
I wonder if 98.7 will keep the WDZH calls. I feel like even though it's not Smooth Jazz anymore, "WVMV" is much smoother off the tongue than WDZH is, which was changed for Amp Radio. But I think another station somewhere is using WVMV, so I guess that's out.
Not that calls matter to listeners too much anymore, but 987 The Breeze WBFG anyone? The transmitter building still says it.

Just switch the "D" with a "B" WBZH

Re: The Breeze a tease?
34. Ugh, when did that happen to me? Seems like I just graduated from Plymouth-Canton High School. I haven't really changed too much though; in high school we didn't have The Breeze, but we had a good version of WNIC, and I think Lite-FM, Star 97, and Q95 that I frequently listened to.
It's kind of a weird thought, but The Breeze actually kind of takes me back to high school in the late 90's and early 00's. Most of my friends were listening to 89X and FM98. I hope they don't tease me with this current format to evolve into a Taylor Swift/Pink/Ed Sheeran AC format.

Re: The Breeze a tease?
My favorite radio station from the mid 90s to 2010 was WNIC. I never understood why the ratings were as bad as they were when literally every business was pretty much tuned into WNIC that I can remember.
I really hope The Breeze can show that this format did and still does work.
I do NOT want another Lady Gaga/Katy Perry AC station.
Going out to eat and hearing "Dark Horse" play is a big no no. I want to hear me some Elton John and Fleetwood Mac

There was a Breeze Tease on iHeart's 106.1 translator in Cleveland. It is now hip hop "Real 106.1".
Breeze continues on WGAR HD 2...

Re: The Breeze a tease?
Yup, that's what this post was referring to actually.
It''s 106.1's HD 2 station. They syndicated Ifart's Premium Choice Breeze playlist for a week.
