Is this station even on ? I never hear it where is the signal going ,I’m in the Utica area and get WKAR quite frequently but never the Windsor station.

Yes, it's on the air.

Extremely little RF gets beamed northward. One literally has to be within a mile or two of Detroit's riverfront to get decent reception. This is done to avoid interference with WKAR-FM and other stations.

Stations at 103.9 MHz and 105.5 MHz in Windsor use similarly restrictive patterns.

Thanks MW ,just wondering if they were going to put the UCB station at 107.9 before they ended up with 90.5 freq or was it the 102.3 station, I know back then someone was trying way before this translator nonsense started.
