Tiger Broadcasters
Tiger Broadcasters
Anyone heard anything about new broadcasters? Maybe someone local or from who know's where? Rumor that now that Beth Mcleod is weather lady on 7 maybe Fred might come back to town.We only have about 12 weeks until Spring Training.

Probably be something announced between the winter meetings (12/9-12/13) and the Tigers' winter caravan (late January). I would guess in early January after the holidays.
Re: Tiger Broadcasters
FWIW: There's a bar in St. Clair Shores called the Blue Goose Inn that I go to from time to time. There's frequently live music and the bands are generally excellent. Last night featured Jimmy McCarty and Mystery Train, one of my favorite local acts. I thought briefly about going but was too tired to make the drive from the west side.
This morning I saw a Facebook post from a friend who was there last night. It had a photo of several guys from the band standing next to...Jack Morris.
It might mean something. It might not. But why was he in town to begin with?

I don't know whom I'd prefer as play-by-play person, but how 'bout Dan Petry as analyst ?
Re: Tiger Broadcasters
He is scheduled to appear at the Thanksgiving Day parade next week. Could be the reason he is being spotted around town.

Re: Tiger Broadcasters
I've been there a couple times. First time was Mothers Day around 2005 or 2006. Back then my wife and I were just dating. She lived in Grosse Pointe Woods and I was in Ann Arbor. We were taking a drive along Lake St Clair and when it was time to eat we ended up there because it wasn't crowded....not a Mothers Day hotspot I guessVic Doucette wrote: ↑Sat Nov 17, 2018 8:44 amThere's a bar in St. Clair Shores called the Blue Goose Inn that I go to from time to time.

I sure hope whoever it is that they have a lot of knowledge in the game--- hopefully a former mgr and or player. I like when these guys give you their perspective. That Cowboy always has to stoke the fire of the racial divide, he'd fit in good with the likes of CNN and MSNBC.
