SXM Holiday Traditions

Post by Turkeytop » Wed Dec 28, 2016 8:26 pm

It's still going on Dec 28. I'd rather hear XMAS music for a few days after Christmas than 6 weeks before Christmas.

I started out with nothing and I still have most of it.

So, they've finally taken it off and replaced it with something they call New Years Nation. :x

Turkeytop, you're right, Holiday Traditions was pretty short this year, not until December 5th, and then gone before New Years - I like the '12 days of Christmas rule' where you playout until Epiphany on January 6th.
I heard 250 promos for the Elf Line, but only about 4 actual calls aired (and none of them was mine!)

Starting Dec 21 and going until the end of New Years day, would suit me.

Re-igniting this topic again 2 years later. I wonder if Holiday Traditions will get a decent spot with halfway decent bitrate, and stereo, unlike some years when they got a cruddy mono signal, and they were sponsored by the USPS?
Haven't seen Christmas schedule yet for SXM, but I heard Andy Williams on XM4 Holly this morning already.
