Not calling anyone a liar, but is this confirmed anywhere? WTOD's website is still up and their Facebook page is still being updated with current news stories, and no announcements of any shutdown or programming moving to 100.7. The Blade has nothing either, but the Blade's local TV/radio coverage has been crap since Russ Lemmon left a decade ago anyway so that doesn't mean too much.

It was all honestly overdue. I will have 2 radios on at midnight. I assume the WTOD calls will pop up someplace else, I cant believe they would surrender them completely.

Why? "WTOD" means nothing to anybody except radio geeks.

The Zone and 1470 AM are apparently dying their final deaths because the cloud is too cheap to fix Pickle Rd. and heaven forbid Don Imus not air in Toledo. Sad. And the article says nothing about where the Tigers broadcasts are going.

Well what's important is that other than the Tigers, the Talk Radio 1470 schedule has been fully moved lock, stock and barrel to 100.7.

Including BGSU football, which now preempts Michigan football on the station when those two conflict as they did today. Just in case anyone needed another angle on how this format change sucks.

Dude, that station almost LITERALLY had no listeners by the end for anything but Tigers games. Please don't chain yourself to one of the towers on Pickle Rd. to prevent their demolition.

Yeah, it's on today, Monday afternoon. Just simulcasting 100.7's crappy political talk off the bird. Listened at the top of the hour and they only gave ID for WQQO-HD2.
