Nice video. That interview with Mickey Lolich had a nice "Boys of Summer" feeling to it (the Roger Kahn version, not the Don Henley version). It was cool to hear about Johnny Grubb coming in from West Virginia, where I was born and spent lots of time.

I try to think of Ron in that environment, and the cynical part of my personality tries to take over with all kinds of snarky comments. Like Ron saying, "I walked in and everybody stopped what they were doing to greet me."
And the obligatory, "What are you doing here?!" Followed by a round of hugs.

Really nice article in the Detroit Free press

Ray Scott, always enjoyed Ray when he was on. I really did not know of him prior to him being on the air with Ron and he had a great way of steering the ship when Ron would start to go of course.

Yes, a very down-to-earth person.

If I remember right, Ron would always say they were going to discuss Ray's books, but then they would talk about other things.
