Those are both legitimate pop crossover hits. Every AC station in the nation plays them. WRVF isn't doing anything unusual.
Country music has been crossing over to AC formats for as long as format radio has existed. In the '70s it was Kenny Rogers and Crystal Gayle. In the '80s it was Dolly Parton. In the '90s and '00s it was Faith Hill and Shania Twain. Now it's Luke Combs.

I don’t care for the Luke Combs version personally, but it’s #3 on the national AC chart. Add in the fact that Toledo is a country crazed market and it’s a no-brainer that it’s on 101.5
