First off is a station even allowed to broadcast legally on AM 1710 in Canada? Is this something equivalent to a part 15 but in Canada? CHIM does have multiple signals in Ontario. Any ideas about this 1710? Here’s the link www.chimfm.com. Take notice of the Timmins AM 1710 that is listed.

They had an FM in Timmins but the license was revoked years ago. How they get away with using 1710- Canada doesn’t allow Part 15 stations- is a mystery. Canada does have TIS type stations but this shouldn’t qualify.

I wonder how much juice they are pumping out.
