Whazzup with 1520 KHz Toledo?

A place to go for those of you who wish to discuss happenings in OH, IN, IL, WI, and Ontario. OSU sucks, by the way.

Whazzup with 1520 KHz Toledo?

Post by WOHO » Fri Dec 10, 2021 9:46 am

These boys have had plenty of time to get some audio (and RF) on the air on 1520 AM- still dead air. Hell, I'll go play DJ for them if that's what they need, but I'm sure that they have no local studio to use. Are they still just "waiting on the upgrades" on their two FM translators? Doesn't explain why they can't still run the AM?

I'm out of the loop on this one, did it change owners?

Yes, EMF dumped it, new owners filed a silent STA.

My random guess: the new owner is having financing issues. Difficulty in obtaining parts due to the semiconductor shortage could be another factor.
