Bell makes a post-Boxing Day "Move"

On the one hand, the two "EZ Rock" stations had outgrown that branding, as they were neither rock nor EZ anymore. On the other hand, it's sad to see heritage names like QM-FM, Magic 100 and C100 get tossed aside. But that's Bell for you. I'm surprised CHUM-FM didn't get the same.

Bell's acting more corporate every day, by getting rid of heritage branding. Pretty soon, all their stations will have the same branding for each format.

The RadioInsight article says that local talent will still be part of the stations.

About Iheart: is it American-owned, including its stations in Canada? Or Canadian-owned?
