WTOL (CBS) Toledo approved for power increase by FCC.

A place to go for those of you who wish to discuss happenings in OH, IN, IL, WI, and Ontario. OSU sucks, by the way.

indlay should be covered on the Lima CBS/ABC channel "35" (RF's 18 WOHL/35 WAMS/27 WPNM). Not to be confused with the old "35," which is now WLIO 8, which is NBC and FOX.

Cracks me up when Toledo stations cover out of market cities that have their own local news stations. In this case, "Your News Now" from Lima and WTOL/13abc. It's kinda like Blade Holdings never created the 1 station with 2 network subchannels.
Findlay is in the Toledo DMA.

Lima is a much smaller market with far fewer resources.

Also, the earlier suggestion that Toledo stations should largely disregard news from Monroe County (most of which is 20 miles or less from downtown Toledo) is stupid.

A lot of people in Temperance and Lambertville prefer Toledo stations over Detroit stations for news.

At our daughter's high school graduation, the keynote speaker was from a Toledo TV station.

But the ceremony was in Bedford Twp.

Monroe County should be split between the Detroit and Toledo DMAs, since the northern communities are sorta like an extension of Downriver.

The Detroit DMA communities should be:
Ash Township
Berlin Township (except for Estral Beach)
Carleton
Exeter Township (except for Maybee Village)
London Township
Milan Township (and the city)
South Rockwood

And maybe Maybee :P and Frenchtown

Hey dumbshits, I didn't say they should ignore Monroe, I said they should stop covering Monroe/Temperance/Lambertville/Bedford news like those places are more important than Toledo. Learn how to read.

Actually, that's not what you said.

Here's what you said:
Or the over-coverage of far SE Michigan news, which they're doing largely trying to get Monroe County switched from Detroit's DMA to Toledo's. It's kind of silly really, if you have stations available from a major market like Detroit why would you rather watch hacks like Sashem Brey or Melissa Andrews do the news?
Go fuck yourself.
