CKWW 580 Adding More 80’s

Post by Oldies 84 » Sun Jan 20, 2019 7:06 pm

I have noticed in the last month that 580 has added more 80’s titles to its playlists, At least 2 per hour, Has anyone else noticed this?

I'd rather have them add 800 watts to their signal, or swap with the Big 8.

I would love that also, I would dig The Big 8 again but that would never happen.

I think I may have a plan.

Is THAT where they got the idea for the 486-SX?

Same (x, y, z), different (t)

I do why don’t we all chip in and purchase 580, And make it a true Oldies Format and we could all work there and have fun with it and actually make some cash, What do you dudes think?

Purchase 1090 instead. Probably way cheaper.

Stopnswop, you could be the music director. I’ll handle Morning Drive but I’ll need a second personality maybe a Hot looking girl, And none of this Morning Zoo radio crap, Just Good Times and Great Oldies 1955-1974 and also be a very informative station News, Traffic and Weather, and tons of Great Music stuff you don’t hear every day, And where ever it is on the dial the station name “The Soundtrack” if it’s 1090 “The Mighty Soundtrack 1090” as an example.

Oh and... music scheduling software...
F that, lol
I'm a walking music scheduler.

I work real hard when it comes to putting together a setlist.
Like when I'm making a playlist or a cd, every song I've chosen for the playlist almost like "talks" to me as to exactly where it should be, what song HAS to come before it, etc etc.
I've literally spent hours just trying to figure out what the first 3 tracks of a cd should be. I feel those are the most important songs on any album, specifically the opening track.

Back when I was manager of the frozen yogurt store I was talking about the other day, the 2 main CD's I used for my afternoon crowd (the soft rock/AC ones) opened with "Hold My Hand" by Hootie and the Blowfish and the other CD "Ironic" by Alanis Morissette

I've always had an extremely creative personality, that actually drives me insane ! Lol
