WPAY

A place to go for those of you who wish to discuss happenings in OH, IN, IL, WI, and Ontario. OSU sucks, by the way.

I'll take the K-Love Classics, it makes it up to Monroe and down to southern Wood County pretty well, can tell you how wide it is though.
Still buying my lottery tickets so I can buy it.....

Site is SE of Perrysburg, near US-20 if memory serves.

Yes, the only AM radio station in Ohio built this century; it's basically a celltower hut for the transmitter building, but you can see all 5 antenna towers running N/S east of NB I-75 with every other tower blinking. They are south of US 20, but obviously not the monster single tower which is 92.5FM WVKS, it is SE of that tower.

And....could somebody tell me why those WOHO call letters aren't being used by some station in the state of Ohio?

Hatred between the Dickey Brothers and Cumulus, they saved and stashed WTOD, and for a while WLQR, but never kept their Dad's WOHO. The call letters I would apply for when I buy 1520AM :)

Last they were used was on the CP for what became WVXG 95.1 in Mount Gilead in the early 1990s. Thought someone would have claimed it by now.

I'd leave the WPAY call letters, where they are. Buy 1560am & the for sale FM translator, in Toledo, and use the WOHO call letters. Formats can be the subject of future debate.
