Urban radio formats in Toledo

So... you have 1 Urban AC, 3 hip hop R&B counting translator 94.9.

The Juice is a locally owned station in the community which has been on since 1997. Mix 95.7 has had Urban ac since 1995-96 abouts. 2005 97.3 changed owners and dumped a low rated classic hits format and took on 107.3, the 2 are evenly split in the ratings. 2015, Iheart put another Rap format on translator 94.9.

My theory is 94.9 was made urban to block The Cloud from flipping 106.5 to classic hip hop or 100.7. If anything 94.9 should have been made Urban AC or Iheart should flip 103.7 to that. Just don't see enough of an audience for a 3rd rap station unless its classic hip hop and the time seems to be ripe for Mix to get a challenger.

Ifart on Superior Street should have made 94.9 into a Urban Ac or Urban Olides but NO Ifart radio wanted to take some numbers from 97.3 in order to protect 92.5.
