103.3 Smile FM signs on

Smile FM now has a Toledo affiliate. The 103.3 translator has returned to the Toledo airwaves after Party 103.3 signed off late last year. The move to Smile FM came out a few months ago, but now has officially signed on, since at least yesterday.

Time to . Party 103.3 was pure cringe, with the website not working half the time. I am surprised it lasted as long as it did.

Yeah, Q105 sucks but Potty 103.3 was much worse.

I liked Party at first for hearing songs that many Toledo stations didn't play for years and the fact that they had a lot of local advertising and support, but the Andrew Z connection IMO dragged it down, and the fact that the station was obviously much lower budget compared to Kiss and even Q meant that the station had no chance to ever last long.

The station played a lot of teenage acts from the 90s and 00s. Yuck.

When I listened (which granted wasn't often except for getting trainwreck comedy value of Andrew Z's show) I mostly heard stuff like Ace of Base, Gwen Stefani, Meghan Trainor and Pink.

Hardly more of a "party" than 101.5 The River.

And Andrew pretty much WAS the station, so he burned the local bridges once again with all but his most loyal sycophants by not paying them, so the station was quickly reduced to running Rick Dees and whatnot off the bird.

At least he conned his way into another gig for himself and Demetrius on the Wolf, regardless of who else never got paid.

At least party made an attempt at sounding fun. The last time I listened to Q they were talking about something happening at the library. Nobody cares.
