The comedian who played Donnie Baker and others died of a heart attack a few weeks back. Little did we know, that Ron Sexton's life was like Donnie Baker. .. affairs, being shot at, etc.

He was a great comedian, and seemed to love his friends and family. Godspeed Ron.

What does Del have to do with programing this station?

Mary and Del sold all of their stations several years ago. No more station ownership for them and they're happy to not own any stations now!

Bob, Del still "consults" with the BD stations he sold...albeit loosely...he's still kind of involved...I bet he had some kind of hand in getting B&T back on in Northern Michigan...

I think that TC Talks is referring to when Bob and Tom were on before under Northern Star. The current owners would be foolish to not let Del have some input on just about any aspect of radio operation. He's mainly the corporate engineer, but he's been doing nearly every aspect of radio since he was a teenager.

I was stating the fact that Del Reynolds hasn't had anything to do with programming of Black Diamond radio stations for several years. TC Talks always posts "facts" about Northern Michigan radio stations, when many times those posts are just his opinions. I was just clarifying that he was wrong about Del.

Del is the "contract" engineer for Black Diamond, but is not a actual employee. He works freelance for serveral other owners/radio stations all over Northern and Mid Michigan. He doesn't program any station and is very happy to no longer own any radio station. He tells me that every time we talk.

TC Talks is behind in thinking that Del is making program decisions for Black Diamond.
