Bumping this, but 97.7 in Manistee was off completely this past weekend when I was up there for the Fourth. Instead, Rewind 97.7 from Sturgeon Bay was in with RDS most of the time.

Both 92.7 and 106.3 were on, along with 94.1, 94.9, 96.3, and 98.7. However, 98.7 remained on the Tigers radio network satellite when they weren't playing.
All of the above leaves one wondering...other than Craig Bowman, do any of the other stake holders in this mess have any background or experience in the business of broadcasting?

Probably little to no background. If there were people with half a brain in that group, WKLA-FM would have moved to 98.7 (which has a much better signal than 96.3) when the full-power 106.3 moved into TC.

Good luck getting a usable signal for 96.3 in Manistee! Even 102.7 WMOM has a better Manistee signal than 96.3 WKLA, despite WMOM (a) being farther away, (b) running slightly lower power, and (c) having to contend with full C1 WRVM, while WKLA has to deal (mostly) with C2 WSFQ.

In an ironic twist, I wouldn't have been surprised if Rewind 97.7 had more listeners over the 4th in Manistee than News 97/98's normal weekend programming would have had!
