Y'know, that's really not a bad idea at all. With 101.9 now putting a listenable signal into the Manistee area, a WICA move to 101.9 could then facilitate a WLMN relocation--serving Ludington from a transmitter location around, say, Hart, and bringing some Muskegon-area listeners (and underwriters) into their coverage area.

I've thought 101.9 to IPR would make sense for years now. 91.5 to The Promise FM would fill their major coverage hole in Northern Michigan (almost everywhere below the Bridge north of a line from Hart/Shelby to around Tawas has a listenable signal from the Promise with the notable exception of the bowl in and around Traverse City)WC8KCY wrote: ↑Thu Feb 07, 2019 6:05 pmY'know, that's really not a bad idea at all. I absolutely love the idea; I only wonder if the purchase price would be economical or not.
CMU's network of stations already serve many of the areas where WICA & WHBP have flimsy signals, and CMU's stations already carry both "must have" weekday NPR news & information programs - Morning Edition and All Things Considered.

Interlochen wouldn't spend the money and Henderson ala "N Content Marketing LLC" (?) wouldn't sell.
