Anything new on this "cluster"? I am still puzzled as to how one can lease stations that are nearly technically impossible to operate.
92.3 and 101.9 seem to be running full power or close to it. I've heard 99.3 occasionally (my guess is that they're running flea power from its licensed site between Benzonia and Frankfort).

Unrelated to this, the Freedom Radio FM satellator in Manistee has been operating on its original 91.7 frequency for the last few days, but still IDing as 91.5 W218CY. I don't see any APP or CP for Freedom Radio FM moving back to 91.7 (I think Strong Tower (pun intended) on 91.9 would preclude them from legally making the move back).

92.3 has been heard here in Fremont much more often in the past two weeks or so breaking through Power, especially in the morning hours. Can't really say the same for 101.9, but it's further and it has a wall of IBOC in its way too.

The signal has never been as good since they stuffed the IBOC bays up there.

Monitoring from Manistee today: Dead air on 99.3; 92.3 came in strong with sports-talk and 101.9 had a listenable signal.

Driving up from ludington area this morning. 101.9 came in well once north of scotville. Once by bear lake, it was getting some interference. Not sure what it was. 99.3 must be broadcasting on a tower close to tc cause it comes on very strong.

It's my belief that "conditions" are dragging the 99.3 signal inland on some days. There's no way it's broadcasting from anywhere near Traverse City.

What's playing on 100.1/100.7, if anything? Roy lost his good tower site for that one, by not paying the site rent.

:blink

Maybe they're broadcasting from a hot air balloon. Or from a pirate ship in Grand Traverse Bay? When broadcasting from a ship in Grand Traverse Bay, always use a 1 Bay. Otherwise the signal will vary as the ship rocks.

Is THAT where they got the idea for the 486-SX?

Same (x, y, z), different (t)

100.1/100.7 wasn't included in the Blarney Stone LMA. Was the good tower site for that one the original Bear Lake tower site or the licensed Taylor Road site? I noticed that there is a CP for 100.7 to relocate to the (Henderson-owned) Forrester Road tower.
