No Tigers Radio in Traverse City
So WCCW AM and FM are no longer carrying the Tigers Radio Broadcasts in Traverse City. Yes I know that Jim Price is awful and makes me mental; however outside of 101.1 FM out of Houghton Lake/Roscommon; does anyone know of a different station in Traverse City carrying the Tigers games?

Re: No Tigers Radio in Traverse City
I was hopeful of hearing Jim and Dan (how often is that phrase offered in decent conversation?) on Friday night, on a drive west of Reed City on US-10, and got some hard-edged talk radio on AM 580, where I thought Detroit might be. It was late enough that WBRN's signal was of marginal use in that vicinity.
At least I know where not to look, when I travel in that region, though 93.7 WKAD and McDonald Garber's 1340/104.7 may give some service in the fringes of the TC area. A 6-0 Royals lead meant the search was a brief one on the 23rd.

Depending on where you are and the noise level and if you have a very good radio, like a GE SuperRadio I or II, you might try WDBC 680 Escanaba in the Daytime. Unfortunately, they recently reduced power from 10 kW to 6 kW, making it more difficult.

Tiger baseball can be heard on WJNL's translator 101.1 here in Traverse City.

In Traverse City
AM 1210 has seemingly been off air for the last couple of weeks(I don't always check).
AM 1110 is always seemingly on air with WJML's regular programming (again I don't always check).
WJNL's 101.1 translator has been airing Tiger Baseball along with a mix of regular programing from WJML and 97.1 from Detroit.

Re: No Tigers Radio in Traverse City
Given how horrible the Tigers have been playing for the past six seasons, not to mention the mediocre booth, I can absolutely understand why WCCW AM/FM dropped the broadcasts.
Ultra low budget 101.1 FM (heard only in the immediate TC area) & AM 1210 are supposedly the new local affiliate for Tigers baseball.
93.7 The Ticket from Cadillac also carries the games.

Morgan Wallen is a piece of garbage.

The website is out of date regarding radio and TV affiliates:

97.7 in Manistee might still carry the Tigers. They might be an option in Benzie County, even though they're just a step above AM 1110/1210 in quality

I believe everybody is missing the point. Midwestern is getting rid of all contracts that carry a time commitment because they are for sale. That is probably why they got rid of ESPN and stopped covering high school sports.
