Re: WILX Announces New News Director
Wonder how many folks that he hired NBC25 / FOX66 will jump ship to work for him in Lansing once their contracts expire?

Any relation to Michigan Radio GM Steve Schram?
Shortwave is the ORIGINAL satellite radio.
Re: WILX Announces New News Director
What do you bet that Schram moves to WNEM when Gray gets the keys.
Named ND almost the same time as the sale is announced, to me that's not coincidence.

Schram is overqualified for Lansing. I doubt he’ll be there long. At least that is what WLNS is hoping for. He is making Jam sweat.
Schram helped build the new studio, expanded newscasts, hired most of the talent currently at 25-66. However, Sinclair contracts would probably prevent him from stealing away his former coworkers.
Interesting observation about Michigan Radio’s Steve Schram. Don’t know the answer, but Steve and Mike are Facebook friends. Could be a coincidence?
