Looks like Gray is growing their brand in Lansing, purchasing Tri-State Christian TV's low power WLNM, Channel 27:

Agreement permits Tri-State ro program one of the WLNM sub-channels.
Acceptable registrations in the queue through June 3 at 5:00p ET have now been activated. Enjoy! -M.W.

Interesting!
TCT entered into a similar arrangement in Detroit not long ago.
Maybe this will become home to ION in HD?

Morgan Wallen is a piece of garbage.

Maybe Lansing will finally get GetTV back! And maybe even get some of the less common subchannels, like Laff or Decades

Gray bought the station for only $175,000. The affiliation agreement with TCT (whereby TCT programming will continue to air in standard definition on 1 subchannel) is only for five years.
I get the sense that TCT is on its last leg. They shuttered all of their local broadcast studios a couple years ago and are divesting assets. The programming on the network is very, very tired. Not sure how anyone under the age of 80 could stomach watching their programming for more than five minutes.
With an aging audience coupled with much wider distribution of networks such as SBN and Daystar, I predict TCT will be out of business within five years.

The TCT studios of WAQP in Saginaw have been a ghost town for a few years now. Still a for sale sign out front, and a vehicle is there once every week or so. The STL tower still stands.

Their contributions dropped dramatically from 2018 to 2019 to mere half million, but program service revenue is up, possibly from subchannel's?MWmetalhead wrote: ↑Thu Mar 26, 2020 7:59 amGray bought the station for only $175,000. Ask not what your country can do FOR you; ask what they are about to do TO YOU!!

I recently saw an 'Ancient Jewish Wisdom' show on TCT dated 2018. Nothing since then?
